We are an independent UK quality assurance body specialising in the institutional accreditation of education providers worldwide. Operating in over 65 countries, we work with schools, colleges, universities, online and alternative training providers to improve the quality of their provision. Our work helps students, and their parents or caregivers, to obtain an independent and
unbiased picture of what an institution is really like in terms of quality, resources, student support and ethics. Achieving Accreditation through ASIC helps providers demonstrate to both home students and the international student body that they are a high-quality institution.

ASIC’s expertise and background in education
Drawing on nearly four decades of international education experience, UK expertise, and a our cohort of local inspectors worldwide, ASIC has a unique insight into the global education sector.
ASIC began as an independent regulatory body providing quality assurance for the international education sector on behalf of the UK Government. In the beginning, overseas institutions approached us for consultancy; to help develop their internal QA processes in line with best pedagogical practices globally. We were quick to recognise the demand for our services and the need for an international benchmark, drawing upon the expertise and heritage of the UK education sector whilst remaining open to learning from best-practice in other countries. Over time our remit and global footprint have grown. Our accreditation is now recognised worldwide as a benchmark of the highest quality.
